About Yacht Rental Dubrovnik

We run private skippered day charters from Gruž Harbour, and we have for seventeen seasons. Eight yachts, a crew of three plus seasonal skippers, and one rule that has never changed: every boat leaves the harbour with a licensed local skipper at the helm. No bareboat, no exceptions.

Seventeen seasons, eight yachts, one harbour

We started with a single Jeanneau and a berth at Gruž. Today the fleet is eight boats — Catamaran X, Galeon 330 Fly, Jeanneau Leader 10, Fairline Phantom 40, VanDutch 32, Jeanneau Prestige 440 Fly, Bond 007 and Malavi 55 — carrying between 7 and 12 guests each. Skipper, full insurance and safety equipment are included on every charter, whether it’s a 4-hour coastline cruise or a full day out to the Elaphiti islands.

We’ve stayed deliberately small. You deal with the same three people from your first message to the moment you step back onto the pontoon, and the person who confirms your booking is the same one who waves you off.

The crew

Sarah Kovač — Charter Coordinator

Sarah answers every inquiry personally, usually within the hour during working hours. She matches your group to the right boat and departure time, and she’s the voice on WhatsApp before, during and after your day at sea.

Captain Marko Radić — Lead Skipper

Marko has spent more than 20 years on the Adriatic and knows every cove between Cavtat and Mljet. He skippers our flagship, the Malavi 55, and trains the seasonal skippers on local routes, anchorages and weather.

Ivan Barišić — Fleet Manager

Ivan keeps the eight yachts serviced and spotless between charters. If an engine, a fitting or a life jacket isn’t exactly right, the boat doesn’t go out — his call, every time.

Licensing and insurance

Every skipper who works with us holds the boat-master licence Voditelj brodice, category B, issued by the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure. All eight vessels are registered in Croatia and carry the insurance Croatian law requires for commercial passenger vessels, including passenger and third-party liability cover.
