A private yacht charter in Dubrovnik means a skippered yacht hired by the boat, not by the seat: half-day (4-hour) charters run from €730 on the 12-guest Catamaran X to €1,900 on the Bond 007, with the rest of the eight-yacht fleet in between. Charters depart from Gruž Harbour, 2 km northwest of the Old Town, and the route is yours to shape — the medieval walls from the water, the pine-covered reserve of Lokrum, the sea caves at Koločep, or a long lunch on Šipan.

You choose from eight skippered yachts — the sociable Catamaran X, the 11-metre Galeon 330 Fly, the 30-knot VanDutch 32 and more — plus a licensed skipper who has spent years reading this coastline, and a day that runs on your clock. No queues, no fixed groups, no strangers on deck.

What’s included in every charter

Every departure, half day or full, comes with:

Not included: national-park and reserve entry fees (Lokrum, and Mljet National Park on longer routes), restaurant meals ashore and premium drinks. There is no platform markup — the price you book is the price you pay.

Half day or full day?

Four hours is enough for the Old Town panorama, a swim at Lokrum or Betina Cave and one quiet cove — a good fit if you have dinner plans or young children aboard. Eight hours opens up the Elaphiti chain: Koločep’s blue cave, sandy Šunj beach on Lopud and a konoba lunch in Šipanska Luka. If you are torn between the two, most groups who take the full day say the unhurried lunch stop is what made it.

Morning half days leave at 09:00 and afternoon slots at 14:00. Full days leave at 09:00 and return around 17:00.

A full-day charter, hour by hour

TimeWhat happens
09:00Board at Gruž Harbour; safety briefing and route chat with your skipper
09:20Slow pass beneath the Old Town walls and Fort Lovrijenac
10:00Koločep — swim into the blue cave while the yacht waits outside
11:30Lopud; anchor off Šunj, one of the few sandy beaches on this coast
13:30Lunch in Šipanska Luka — your skipper can book a waterside konoba table
15:00Final swim stop in a cove chosen for the day’s wind
16:30Coastal cruise home past Daksa and the Lapad peninsula

Treat the table as a template, not a script. Tell the skipper what matters — more swimming, less motoring, a specific bay — and the day bends around it.

Quick answers

How much does a private yacht charter in Dubrovnik cost?

Half-day (4-hour) charters run from €730 per boat on the 12-guest Catamaran X to €1,900 on the Bond 007. Every price includes a licensed skipper, full insurance and safety equipment.

Is a skipper included?

Yes. Every charter is skippered by a licensed local captain — we do not offer bareboat hire. You relax; the skipper handles the boat, the route and the moorings.

Where do charters depart from?

Gruž Harbour, Obala Stjepana Radića 25 — around 10 minutes by taxi from the Old Town. Your skipper meets you on the quay.

Can we choose our own route?

Yes. The itinerary is a starting point. Tell your skipper what you want — more swim stops, a particular beach, a lunch reservation — and the day is built around it.

What happens if the weather turns?

If conditions are unsafe, we move your charter to another day or refund you in full. Summer cancellations are rare, and your skipper makes the call early.
