Hiring a skippered yacht in Dubrovnik costs between €730 and €2,550 per boat for day charters in 2026, with multi-day custom voyages from €2,550 per day. Every price on this page is per boat — never per person — and every one includes a licensed skipper, full insurance and safety equipment, departing from Gruž Harbour on Croatia’s southern Adriatic coast.
This is the complete fleet. There are no seasonal surcharges, no platform markup and no per-head fees hiding in the small print — the price you see is the price you pay.

Every yacht can run the classic routes — a sunset or golden-hour cruise, a half-day or full-day private charter or the Elaphiti islands day — and all eight can be booked online with instant confirmation. Multi-day and custom voyages towards Mljet, Korčula and Hvar are quote-only from €2,550 per day — send your dates through the inquiry form and Sarah will reply with a proposal.
What every price includes
- Licensed local skipper (Croatian Maritime Licence)
- Full insurance — passenger and third-party liability cover
- Full safety equipment and a pre-departure safety briefing
- Bluetooth sound system
Not included: entry fees for protected areas — the Lokrum reserve fee and Mljet National Park tickets on longer routes — plus restaurant meals ashore and premium drinks. Those are the only costs that can appear on top, and all of them are optional.
Payment and cancellation
Charters are paid in full at booking, by card through Stripe. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before departure, refunded to the same card — every booking carries a 100% deposit refund guarantee. If the harbour master closes the sea for weather, you choose between free rebooking and a 100% refund — the decision is made early, not on the quay.
The per-person maths
Because prices are per boat, the cost per head falls with every guest you add:
| Yacht | Price | Guests aboard | Cost per person |
|---|---|---|---|
| Catamaran X (4 h) | from €730 | 12 | ~€61 |
| Galeon 330 Fly (4 h) | from €950 | 8 | ~€119 |
| Fairline Phantom 40 (day charter) | from €1,200 | 12 | €100 |
| Malavi 55 (8 h) | from €2,550 | 12 | ~€213 |
Even a couple taking the Catamaran X to themselves pays €365 each for four private hours at sea — and a family of six pays about €122 a head.
Why per-boat beats per-person group tours
Shared island tours typically sell seats individually, so a group of ten pays ten times — for a fixed route, a fixed schedule and a deck shared with several dozen strangers. Per-boat pricing inverts that. Your ten people pay once, the timetable is yours, and the skipper skips any bay that looks crowded. On busy August days around the Elaphiti islands, that flexibility is the difference between swimming in a quiet cove and queueing behind a catamaran. Our cost guide breaks the comparison down in detail.
What a full day buys, hour by hour
The Fairline Phantom 40 day charter, from €1,200, is the proven mid-point of the list. Here is where those hours go:
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 09:00 | Board at Gruž Harbour; route talk with your skipper |
| 09:30 | Old Town walls and Lokrum from the water |
| 10:30 | Koločep blue cave; first swim of the day |
| 12:00 | Šunj beach on Lopud — sand, shallows, a long swim |
| 13:30 | Konoba lunch in a harbour on Šipan |
| 15:30 | Last swim stop in a sheltered cove |
| 17:00 | Back alongside at Gruž |
Good to know
- When to book. July and August full days go first; for those, book two to four weeks ahead. Spring and autumn dates usually have availability within the week.
- Season. Daily departures April to October; November to March by appointment. The local tourist board and croatia.hr are good companions for planning the rest of your stay.
- Group size. Up to 12 guests on the Catamaran X, Fairline Phantom 40, Bond 007 and Malavi 55; seven to ten on the smaller yachts. Children count as guests; infant and child life jackets are aboard.
- Prices in euros. Croatia uses the euro, so what you see is what your card is charged — no conversion games.
